Regional climate influences manure temperature and methane emissions - A pan-Canadian modelling assessment

Timothy J. Rennie et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of regional climates, inter-annual weather variation, and manure storage emptying on liquid manure temperature (T-m) and CH4 emissions. Results show that regional climate and inter-annual weather variability have a significant effect on CH4 emissions, with early removal of manure storage leading to reduced emissions.
