Electroactivated Disposable Pencil Graphite Electrode - New, Cost-effective, and Sensitive Electrochemical Detection of Bioflavonoid Hesperidin

Silvija Safranko et al.

Summary: In this study, electroactivated disposable pencil graphite electrode was utilized for the detection of bioflavonoid hesperidin, showing a linear relationship between peak current and hesperidin concentration. Two different electrode processes were observed, with the oxidation of hesperidin being irreversible and most pronounced at pH=5.0. Additionally, quantification of hesperidin in pharmaceutical formulations showed a good correlation between voltammetric analysis and standard HPLC technique results.

Nano-graphene-platelet/Brilliant-green composite coated carbon paste electrode interface for electrocatalytic oxidation of flavanone Hesperidin

G. Manasa et al.

Summary: A nanodevice was developed using an adsorption strategy, utilizing extensive pi-pi interactions between nano-Graphene-platelets and cationic Brilliant green to promote Hesperidin oxidation. The electrochemical oxidation of Hesperidin was significantly enhanced on the modified carbon paste electrode under optimized experimental conditions. The study successfully demonstrated the quantification of Hesperidin and validated trace analysis in fortified fruit juice samples.

Electrosynthesis of three-dimensional nanoporous nickel on screen-printed electrode used for the determination of narirutin in citrus wastewater

Maisa Azevedo Beluomini et al.

Summary: An electrochemical sensor was developed for the detection of narirutin using three-dimensional nanostructured porous nickel on screen-printed electrode. The sensor showed good electrocatalytic activity for narirutin oxidation with wide concentration range and low detection limit. The sensor displayed repeatability, long-term stability, and selectivity, with results consistent with HPLC/DAD method.
