Traversable Wormholes in Einstein-Dirac-Maxwell Theory

Jose Luis Blazquez-Salcedo et al.

Summary: In this study, a specific example of traversable wormholes in Einstein-Dirac-Maxwell theory without exotic matter is constructed. These solutions represent localized states and satisfy a generalized Smarr relation, being connected with extremal black holes. An exact wormhole solution with ungauged, massless fermions is also reported.

Static spherically symmetric three-form stars

Bruno J. Barros et al.

Summary: This study explores interior static and spherically symmetric solutions in a gravity theory with a Lagrangian constructed from a three-form field A(alpha beta gamma), revealing that three-form field stars may have greater mass. A comparison between three-form gravity theory and general relativity indicates differences in their description of astrophysical phenomena.

Regular black hole interior spacetime supported by three-form field

Mariam Bouhmadi-Lopez et al.

Summary: This paper demonstrates that a minimally coupled 3-form with a proper potential can sustain a regular black hole interior. By determining the metric function representing the radius of the 2-sphere, the solution for the 3-form field and its potential is obtained to construct a singularity-free interior black hole spacetime, with a Nariai-type spacetime replacing the singularity and potential implications for the de Sitter geometry of the Universe.

Testing Loop Quantum Gravity from Observational Consequences of Nonsingular Rotating Black Holes

Suddhasattwa Brahma et al.

Summary: This study constructs a rotating spacetime solution in loop quantum gravity using the revised Newman-Janis algorithm based on a nonrotating seed metric, showing the features of rotating black holes in different parameter regions and demonstrating how observational constraints can be applied to fundamental parameters of LQG. The causal structure of the solution is shown to depend crucially on the spacelike transition surface of the nonrotating seed metric, capturing universal features of an effective rotating, nonsingular black hole in LQG.

Euclidean wormholes in Gauss-Bonnet-dilaton gravity

Xiao Yan Chew et al.

Summary: Research indicates that Euclidean wormholes in Gauss-Bonnet-dilaton gravity may exist to explain the origin of the universe, even if the dilaton potential does not satisfy slow-roll conditions. This scenario has a higher probability compared to the Hawking-Moss instanton with the same final condition.

Double gravitational layer traversable wormholes in hybrid metric-Palatini gravity

Joao Luis Rosa

Summary: In this study, we investigate the existence of traversable wormhole solutions supported by double gravitational layer thin shells that satisfy the null energy condition throughout the entire spacetime. A new method is proposed to find these solutions by discarding certain junction conditions and utilizing a specific quadratic-linear form of the action. Unlike previous solutions obtained through scalar-tensor representation of the theory, the solutions derived in this work are more abundant and applicable to a wide range of metrics and actions.

Morris-Thorne wormhole in the vector-tensor theories with Abelian gauge symmetry breaking

Ai-chen Li et al.

Summary: An asymptotically flat Morris-Thorne wormhole solution supported by anisotropic matter fluid and a vector field with broken Abelian gauge symmetry is constructed. The importance of the ansatz of vector field in determining the spacetime geometry of the wormhole is emphasized. Introducing a thin shell near the throat to address complications in the extended Maxwell equations, the study explores the smoothness of the spacetime geometry at the junction position. Energy conditions and volume integral quantifiers are examined in the analysis.

Epicyclic frequencies in static and spherically symmetric wormhole geometries

Vittorio De Falco et al.

Summary: The study focuses on measuring the epicyclic frequencies to infer information on a given self-gravitating system and the related gravity background, particularly in static and spherically symmetric wormhole spacetimes. These theoretical results can be used to detect the presence of a wormhole, distinguish it from a black hole, and reconstruct wormhole solutions through fitting observational data. The physical implications of the proposed epicyclic method are also discussed.
