Fluorescence turn-off magnetic COF composite as a novel nanocarrier for drug loading and targeted delivery

Kai Zhao et al.

Summary: The novel concept of multifunctional COFs-based core-shell nanocomposite with good dispersity has been demonstrated as a highly efficient targeted drug delivery system with excellent photothermal and magnetic performance. A facile sonication associated method was developed for synthesizing the nanocomposite at room temperature, which was further modified for special targeting toward cancer cells. The integration of magnetic COFs as a novel and effective drug carrier with good surface modification, excellent photothermal performance, and high drug loading capacity showed improved therapeutic effect in cancer chemo-photothermal therapy.

Classification of quinoa varieties based on protein fingerprinting by capillary electrophoresis with ultraviolet absorption diode array detection and advanced chemometrics

Rocio Galindo-Lujan et al.

Summary: The study developed a rapid and simple capillary electrophoresis-ultraviolet absorption diode array detection (CE-UV-DAD) method to obtain characteristic multiwavelength electrophoretic profiles of soluble protein extracts from different quinoa grain varieties. Advanced chemometric methods were then applied to deconvolute and classify the protein components present in the electropherograms of quinoa varieties.

In situ controllable synthesis of Schiff base networks porous polymer coatings for open-tubular capillary electrochromatography

Pengfei Chen et al.

Summary: A uniform Schiff base network film was synthesized in a controllable way by continuously flowing reactants inside a capillary. The research investigated the effects of reaction conditions on the morphology and thickness of the film, showing that thickness can be controlled by altering reaction concentration and time. The capillaries under different conditions were used for capillary electrochromatography, resulting in significant variations in migration time, peak order, and separation efficiency, particularly for analytes with nitrogen heterocycle structures.
