Tricuspid regurgitation pressure gradient identifies prognostically relevant worsening renal function in acute heart failure

Kazuto Hayasaka et al.

Summary: By measuring changes in tricuspid regurgitation pressure gradient, prognostically relevant and irrelevant worsening renal function in patients with acute heart failure can be distinguished. Patients with worsening renal function and an increase in TRPG had higher all-cause mortality within 1 year compared to other groups.
