Synthesis, molecular docking, and in silico ADME prediction of some fused pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine and pyrazole derivatives as potential antimicrobial agents

Ashraf S. Hassan et al.

Summary: Twenty compounds of pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines 14a-j and pyrazole derivatives as Schiff bases 16a-j have been synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial inhibitory activity. Some products showed broad-spectrum activity, with certain compounds exhibiting acceptable bioactivity scores through in silico prediction of physicochemical properties, drug-likeness model score, ADME, and toxicity properties. Additionally, molecular docking studies demonstrated lower binding energy with different types of binding mode, suggesting potential as antimicrobial agents.
