Bacterial cellulose/polyaniline nanocomposite aerogels as novel bioadsorbents for removal of hexavalent chromium: Experimental and simulation study

Hadi Hosseini et al.

Summary: Biodegradable BC/PANI nano composite aerogels were fabricated for the removal of Cr(VI) from wastewater streams. The adsorption capacity was highest for BPDB at pH 7, with good re-adsorption efficiency. Surface diffusion was found to be the main mechanism, with BPDB showing faster adsorption rate than BPDS.

A Review: Optimization for Poly(glycerol sebacate) and Fabrication Techniques for Its Centered Scaffolds

Zebin Wu et al.

Summary: Poly(glycerol sebacate) (PGS) is a promising thermosetting polymer synthesized from sebacic acid and glycerol, known for its elasticity, biocompatibility, and tunable biodegradation properties. However, it also has drawbacks such as harsh synthesis conditions, rapid degradation rates, and low stiffness. Various modification methods and fabrication techniques have been developed to optimize the performance of PGS and accelerate the development of new materials.
