High-throughput phenotyping of plant growth rate to screen for waterlogging tolerance in lentil

Lachlan Lake et al.

Summary: In this study, 111 lentil lines were screened for their response to waterlogging through pot assays, revealing significant correlations between plant growth rate and biomass during waterlogging and recovery periods. High biomass at the end of recovery was associated with cooler canopies, and genotypes with consistently higher tolerance to waterlogging were identified.
