Phase distribution of two-phase refrigerant flow over an impacting horizontal T-junction

Xander van Heule et al.

Summary: This study analyzed the phase distribution of refrigerants in a T-junction and found that the liquid phase flows towards the outlet branch affected by the mass flow rate. The research also indicated that existing models cannot accurately predict the refrigerant data, leading to the proposal of a new phase distribution model based on new data.
