Growth and Yield Response of Upland Rice to Application of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria

Harry Jay M. Cavite et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) isolates on enhancing upland rice growth and yield. Acidovorax delafieldii in combination with 50% RRIF was found to be as effective as full RRIF in enhancing growth and yield of PSB Rc23 rice. Further evaluation in actual field conditions is necessary to uncover the efficiency of these bacterial isolates as potential biofertilizer.
