Identification and Evaluation of Suitable Reference Genes for RT-qPCR Analysis in Hippodamia variegata (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) Under Different Biotic and Abiotic Conditions

Jiaoxin Xie et al.

Summary: RT-qPCR is an accurate and convenient technique for quantifying gene expression levels, and selecting the appropriate reference gene is crucial for the analysis. This study evaluated eight candidate reference genes using five analytical tools under four experimental conditions, recommending specific reference genes for each condition. These findings will enhance the accuracy and reliability of RT-qPCR data and contribute to further exploration of gene function in Hippodamia variegata.

Validation of Reference Genes for Studying Different Abiotic Stresses in Oat (Avena sativa L.) by RT-qPCR

Judit Tajti et al.

Summary: Oat, a widely cultivated cereal with high nutritional value, shows different stability of reference gene expression under diverse abiotic stress conditions. ADPR was identified as the top-rated reference gene for all samples, while TUB and EF1 were most affected by the treatments.
