The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on colorectal cancer diagnosis and management: A Binational Colorectal Cancer Audit study

Summary: The study demonstrates that the COVID-19 pandemic has had negative effects on the diagnosis and management of colorectal cancer in Australia and New Zealand. Fewer operations were performed, patients were younger and more likely to have urgent or emergency surgery. Clinical stage distribution changed during different periods of the pandemic.
