Iron doped cobalt fluoride derived from CoFe layered double hydroxide for efficient oxygen evolution reaction

Meng Li et al.

Summary: In this study, Fe-doped CoF2 was demonstrated as an efficient catalyst for OER, derived from the transformation of CoFe layered double hydroxide. The Fe-CoF2 nanoflakes showed improved utilization of active sites and promoted mass transfer, leading to a low overpotential and high stability. The high valence state change from the M F bond to the M O bond indicated the facile active phase formation during the OER process.

Fe doped Mo/Te nanorods with improved stability for oxygen evolution reaction

Runze He et al.

Summary: The high valence state of Mo is active but unstable for water oxidation. By doping Fe into Mo/Te, the stability of the catalyst can be greatly improved, leading to more stable and efficient performance in the oxygen evolution reaction. This study demonstrates an effective approach to enhance the activity and stability of Mo-based catalysts for OER through Fe and Mo synergistic effects.

Efficient catalytic degradation of toluene at a readily prepared Mn-Cu catalyst: Catalytic performance and reaction pathway

Jian-Rong Li et al.

Summary: In this study, Mn-Cu bimetallic oxides with high catalytic activity were facilely prepared by a hydrothermal-redox method for toluene oxidation. The control of Cu/Mn molar ratio was found to tune the lattice defect and oxygen vacancy concentration in the prepared materials. Among them, spinel structured MnCu0.5 exhibited the highest catalytic activity and durability at 210 degrees C.
