Te4+-doped Cs2InCl5•H2O single crystals for remote optical thermometry

Jun-Hua Wei et al.

Summary: Zero-dimensional metal halide perovskites, especially those with the ns(2) electronic configuration, are of great interest for their high-temperature sensitive photoluminescence properties. Te4+ doped Cs2InCl5·H2O single crystals exhibit a strong temperature-dependent photoluminescence lifetime, showing potential advantages for remote optical thermometry (ROT) applications. The strong phonon-exciton coupling and specific sensitivity at 320K demonstrate the promising prospects of indium-based metal halide perovskites in ROT applications.

Indium-antimony-halide single crystals for high-efficiency white-light emission and anti-counterfeiting

Jun-Hua Wei et al.

Summary: This study reports a series of zero-dimensional indium-antimony alloyed halide single crystals with tunable emission, showing bright yellow emission at 320 nm excitation and bright white-light emission at 365 nm excitation. The blue emission associated with BAPP(4+) and the orange emission from inorganic polyhedron function as a pair of complementary colors affording white light. Additionally, the materials exhibit interesting afterglow behavior and excitation-dependent emission property, making them high-performance anti-counterfeiting/information storage materials.
