Alleviating product inhibition of Trichoderma reesei cellulase complex with a product-activated mushroom endoglucanase

Summary: Introducing product-activated cellulase genes significantly increases enzyme activity and saccharification efficiency. Improving thermostability of cellulases was achieved through mutants and enhanced enzyme activity. Introducing product-activated cellulase genes is an effective approach to alleviate product inhibition of cellulases.

Biochemical characterization and molecular docking of cloned xylanase gene from Bacillus subtilis RTS expressed in E. coli

Summary: This study utilized a mesophilic Bacillus subtilis RTS strain with high xylanolytic activity, extracting a xylanase gene from it and cloning it into Escherichia coli BL21 cells. The cloned xylanase showed optimal enzymatic activity at 60°C and pH 6.5, with stability observed in various organic solvents. Molecular docking analysis revealed key amino acids contributing to protein-ligand interaction, suggesting potential applications in biofuel and industrial settings.
