Summary: Surface modification is an alternative strategy to enhance the ageing resistance and electrochemical performance of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. In this study, PANI nanoparticles were selectively grown on NMC532, resulting in improved structural stability and inhibited side reactions, leading to enhanced electrochemical performance.
