Optimal Coordination of Electric Vehicles for Virtual Power Plants With Dynamic Communication Spectrum Allocation

Bin Zhou et al.

Summary: This article presents an optimal coordinated scheduling of electric vehicles for a virtual power plant, taking into account communication reliability, by utilizing dynamic spectrum allocation and EV scheduling to coordinate the charging and discharging strategies of massive and dispersed EVs. A two-stage V2G dispatch scheme is proposed to maximize the overall daily profit of the VPP. The effects of packet loss probability on scheduling performance and battery degradation cost are thoroughly analyzed and demonstrated through comparative studies.

Distribution Network-Constrained Optimization of Peer-to-Peer Transactive Energy Trading Among Multi-Microgrids

Mingyu Yan et al.

Summary: This article introduces a two-level network-constrained peer-to-peer (P2P) transactive energy model for multi-microgrids, utilizing a MLMF Stackelberg game approach and distributed algorithms to ensure the effectiveness of the proposed solution. The DSO reconfigures the distribution network based on energy trading results and requests adjustments for network security, formulated in a MISOCP model for solution accuracy. Numerical results on various test systems demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed transactive model and its solution technique.

Optimal Aggregation Approach for Virtual Power Plant Considering Network Reconfiguration

Long Wang et al.

Summary: The paper introduces an optimal network partition model for minimizing voltage deviation and injection power fluctuation at the point of common coupling (PCC) inside VPPs. By aggregating complementary DERs with close electrical distances in the same VPP, the controllability of VPPs is improved and operation costs are reduced. The proposed approach utilizes mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) and incorporates a network reconfiguration strategy to ensure connected components within the same VPP, leading to enhanced performance.
