A multidomain virtual network embedding algorithm based on multiobjective optimization for Internet of Drones architecture in Industry 4.0

Summary: This paper focuses on the allocation of virtual resources in the Internet of Drones (IoD). A multidomain virtual network embedding algorithm is proposed to improve optimization performance and reduce computation time. The algorithm incorporates a genetic variation factor to avoid local optima and transforms the multiobjective optimization problem into a single-objective problem. Additionally, an algorithm for selecting candidate nodes based on estimated mapping cost is proposed to reduce mapping cost. Simulation results show that the proposed MP-VNE algorithm outperforms other algorithms in terms of delay, cost, and comprehensive indicators.

Private blockchain-based access control mechanism for unauthorized UAV detection and mitigation in Internet of Drones environment

Summary: In this paper, a novel access control scheme for unauthorized UAV detection and mitigation, called ACSUD-IoD, is proposed. By incorporating a blockchain-based solution in ACSUD-IoD, the data from drones can be securely stored for detection of unauthorized UAVs, and Big data analytics can be performed on the authenticated transactional data stored in the blockchain to ensure data authenticity and effectiveness. The detailed security analysis and testbed experiments demonstrate the robustness and efficacy of the proposed scheme in an IoD environment compared to existing schemes.
