Prospective Study of Engagement in Leisure Activities and All-Cause Mortality Among Older Japanese Adults

Summary: Engagement in leisure activities, particularly those involving physical activity and group-based interactions, is associated with lowered mortality risk among older adults. Cultural leisure activities and solitary leisure activities, on the other hand, are not associated with all-cause mortality.
