Experimental and kinetic study on the low temperature oxidation and pyrolysis of formic acid in a jet-stirred reactor

Geyuan Yin et al.

Summary: The study found that unimolecular fuel decomposition reactions dominate the pyrolysis process of formic acid, while H abstraction reactions with the further consumption of radicals are more important in the oxidation of formic acid. Additionally, H abstraction reactions via HO2 become important at relatively low temperature.

Gasoline spray characteristics using a high pressure common rail diesel injection system by the method of laser induced exciplex fluorescence

Lei Feng et al.

Summary: The study reveals that the liquid and vapor penetration lengths, as well as the mass of entrained gas of gasoline and diesel sprays, vary under different pressure conditions, while the mean equivalence ratio shows an increasing tendency under certain conditions.
