Summary: Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition in a CO/H-2 microwave discharge system was used to synthesize carbon nanowalls template, onto which manganese oxides were deposited using potentiostatic anodic deposition technique. The synthesized nanocomposite electrode exhibited high electrochemical activity for detecting hydrogen peroxide, showing high sensitivity and good selectivity. This study demonstrates the great potential of CNW-based composite electrodes in nonenzymatic electrochemical sensor applications.
