Surgical Resection versus Re-Ablation for Intrahepatic Recurrent Hepatocellular Carcinoma after Initial Ablation Therapy

Yongjin Wang et al.

Summary: This study compared the outcomes of patients with intrahepatic recurrent HCC after initial ablation who underwent surgical resection or re-ablation. The results showed that surgical resection provided better disease-free survival (DFS) than re-ablation, while there was no significant difference in overall survival (OS) between the two treatment groups.
