Hairy black holes by gravitational decoupling

J. Ovalle et al.

Summary: In this study, black holes with hair represented by generic fields surrounding the central source of the Schwarzschild metric were examined. It was found that under certain conditions, the energy conditions can be preserved and a new mechanism to evade the no-hair theorem was provided. A non-trivial extension of the Reissner-Nordstrom black hole with a simple horizon structure was discovered as a direct application of this research.

Minimally deformed wormholes

Francisco Tello-Ortiz et al.

Summary: This work focuses on studying wormhole solutions in the framework of gravitational decoupling using the minimal geometric deformation scheme. By examining the Morris-Thorne model and considering different approaches, the study explores the effects on mass and the asymptotic behavior of wormholes under various conditions. The use of the thin-shell matching technique and restrictions on parameters such as alpha for exotic matter distribution are discussed to satisfy specific conditions and constraints in wormhole solutions.

Acceptability conditions and relativistic barotropic equations of state

Hector Hernandez et al.

Summary: An algorithm is proposed to generate exact anisotropic solutions from a barotropic equation of state by setting an ansatz on the metric functions. The method is illustrated using a generalization of the polytropic equation of state, resulting in two models that meet physical acceptability criteria. It is shown that some relativistic anisotropic polytropic models may have singular tangential sound velocity for polytropic indexes greater than one, while the generalized polytropic equation of state avoids this issue.

Probing the minimal geometric deformation with trace and Weyl anomalies

P. Meert et al.

Summary: The minimal geometric deformation (MGD) method is used to derive static, strongly gravitating, spherically symmetric, compact stellar distributions, with trace and Weyl anomalies employed to probe the MGD in the holographic setup. Authors suggest that this model plays a prominent role in AdS/CFT.

Kerr-de Sitter black hole revisited

J. Ovalle et al.

Summary: The research indicates that the cosmological constant is deformed near a black hole, leading to a reexamination of the black hole solution and the proposal of a new, simpler and more geometrically rich solution. A detailed study of the new black hole solution was carried out, showing the impact of rotation on the curvature, and a conjecture was made regarding its possible implications on alternative theories.

Gravitational decoupling for axially symmetric systems and rotating black holes

E. Contreras et al.

Summary: The study successfully generates rotating black holes with primary hair by deforming spherically symmetric seed solutions, and explores the impact of surrounding fluid on the Kerr black hole solution. The results demonstrate that a rotating and charged black hole may share the same horizon as Kerr's, Schwarzschild's, or Reissner-Nordstrom's, revealing possible observational effects of surrounding matter on black holes.
