The Prevalence and Severity of Misophonia in a UK Undergraduate Medical Student Population and Validation of the Amsterdam Misophonia Scale

Jay Naylor et al.

Summary: Misophonia, abnormal emotional responses to auditory stimuli, has a high prevalence among undergraduate medical students, affecting nearly half of the population with mild to moderate symptoms. The A-Miso-S questionnaire was found to have good validity in this population, providing new insights into the phenomenon among UK medical students.
