Summary: This study aimed to establish the feasibility of shorter acquisition times in digital PET/CT for tumor detection and lesion contrast. Results showed that new-generation digital PET scanners are able to produce clinically adequate images with shorter acquisitions, with only a small variation in semi-quantitative parameters.
