Deformation response of roof in solid backfilling coal mining based on viscoelastic properties of waste gangue

Summary: A new mechanical model for solid backfill mining was established in this study, taking into account the time-dependent deformation characteristics of gangue. Compared with the traditional elastic foundation model, the proposed fractional order viscoelastic foundation model showed higher accuracy, with plate deflection and bending moment increasing by 50.9% and 37.9%, respectively, after 100 days.
