Optimal Rotating Receiver Angles Estimation for Multicoil Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer

Bohdan Pakhaliuk et al.

Summary: This study proposed a novel approach to dynamic wireless charging using a rotating receiver coil, focusing on increasing coupling coefficient and power transfer stability by following the flux of transmitting coils. By optimizing the trajectory of the rotating receiver's angular velocity, the study achieved the highest possible coupling as simulated by a state space model with three transmitters. The comprehensive analysis showed a 40% increase in track space usage with the proposed wireless power transmission approach.

Multiple Input Multiple Output Resonant Inductive WPT Link: Optimal Terminations for Efficiency Maximization

Giuseppina Monti et al.

Summary: This paper presents a general-purpose procedure for optimizing a resonant inductive wireless power transfer link using a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) configuration. By deriving an eigenvalue problem, the optimal impedance terminations for efficiency maximization are determined, and a step-by-step procedure is proposed to solve this problem. The general applicability of the method makes it suitable for any wireless power transfer link.
