Remarkable solvent tunable aggregation caused quenching for fluorochromic chitosan based hydrogel

Dipika Pan et al.

Summary: The fabrication of a hydrogel with solvent tunable fluorescence property has been successfully achieved in this research, revealing changes in photoluminescence under different solvent and pH conditions. The study also finds a photoinduced electron transfer process within the hydrogel, as well as aggregation caused quenching phenomenon due to solvent molecule aggregation.

A Permanent Porous Hydrogen-Bonded Framework with Room-Temperature Phosphorescence

Hui Xiao et al.

Summary: In this study, a pure organic phosphor BPMCz was utilized as a building block to construct HOF materials, displaying high CO2 adsorption and room-temperature phosphorescence with good thermal stability. The introduction of carbonyl groups in BPMCz successfully enabled the construction of a metal-free porous framework with long-lived phosphorescence emission, expanding the scope of organic room-temperature phosphorescent materials and their applications.

Imidazole-based solid-state fluorophores with combined ESIPT and AIE features as self-absorption-free non-doped emitters for electroluminescent devices

Sujinda Petdee et al.

Summary: Two imidazole-based ESIPT-aggregate induced emission (AIE) fluorophores have been successfully designed and synthesized for non-doped emitters in organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), demonstrating strong emission performance and stability. This represents an advance in the development of ESIPT molecules as non-doped emitters for fluorescent OLEDs.

Single molecule fluorescence imaging of nanoconfinement in porous materials

Bin Dong et al.

Summary: Recent progress has been made in using single molecule fluorescence microscopy imaging to study nanoconfinement in porous materials, revealing static and dynamic heterogeneities between seemingly equal molecules by removing ensemble averaging effects. These studies allow for the investigation of various physicochemical processes at nanometer spatial resolution and provide the ability to quantitatively measure the inhomogeneities of nanoconfinement effects.
