No Significant Difference in Post-ERCP Bleeding Rates Between Dual Antiplatelet Agents and Aspirin Alone A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Abhishek Bhurwal et al.

Summary: This study aimed to compare the efficacy of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) versus aspirin alone in terms of post-ERCP bleeding by conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis. The results showed that the post-ERCP bleeding rates were not significantly higher in the DAPT cohort compared to the aspirin alone cohort, indicating that the risk of bleeding is more likely related to the procedure itself rather than the use of antiplatelet agents.
