Reclamation of RO permeate and concentrate of geothermal water by new chelating resins having N-methyl-D-glucamine ligands

Fatma Sen et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that the new synthesized chelating resins effectively reduced boron and arsenic concentrations in geothermal water to meet the drinking and irrigation water standards. The synthesized resins showed excellent performance in removing both species, competing with and outperforming commercial boron selective resins, making them a promising alternative for geothermal water reclamation.
