Summary: A new method called Information Gain binary Butterfly Optimization Algorithm (IG-bBOA) is proposed in this paper to solve the feature selection problem, which maximizes both classification accuracy and mutual information between features and class labels. The method is used within a three-phase Ensemble Information Theory based binary Butterfly Optimization Algorithm (EIT-bBOA), showing improved efficiency in selecting optimal feature subsets with minimum number of features.

These trends are expected to rise in 2040, with transitioning countries experiencing a larger increase compared to transitioned countries due to demographic changes and risk factors associated with globalization and a growing economy. Efforts to improve cancer prevention measures and provision of cancer care in transitioning countries will be crucial for global cancer control.
