Maximum power point tracking control for a doubly fed induction generator wind energy conversion system based on multivariable adaptive supertwisting approach

Summary: This study proposed a multivariable super-twisting control scheme for a doubly-fed induction generator based wind energy conversion system to achieve maximum power point tracking. An adaptive algorithm was used to suppress parametric uncertainty and external perturbations effectively. The controller achieved smooth regulation of both active and reactive powers quantities for optimal power tracking in finite time, with a novel Lyapunov function proving system convergence. Simulation in Matlab/Simulink software verified the method's strong robustness and self-adaptation.
