Boron nitride with high zeta potential via plasma processing in solution for preparation of polyrotaxane composite

Kenichi Inoue et al.

Summary: Plasma processing in solution was used to modify hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particles for the preparation of a polyrotaxane composite. The zeta potential of the modified particles can serve as an indicator for guiding optimal surface modification during plasma processing to achieve uniform composites. The tensile strength and elongation of the modified composite were significantly improved compared to unmodified particles, demonstrating the effectiveness of using zeta potential as a guiding parameter.
