Prediction of the Seebeck coefficient of thermoelectric unidirectional fibre-reinforced composites

P. A. Carraro et al.

Summary: New analytical equations were derived in this study to assess the Seebeck coefficient values of a unidirectional (UD) carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite lamina. Accurate Finite Element (FE) analyses and experimental measurements were carried out to validate the proposed equations.

High-Power All-Carbon Fully Printed and Wearable SWCNT-Based Organic Thermoelectric Generator

Christos K. Mytafides et al.

Summary: The study introduces the fabrication process of a highly efficient fully printed all-carbon organic thermoelectric generator (OTEG) that does not require metallic junctions. The novel OTEG exhibits outstanding flexibility and stability with exceptional power output, making it possible to operate at high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. The device has been successfully designed with superior thermoelectric properties, providing opportunities for large-scale manufacturing of efficient flexible OTEGs.
