In situ construction of hierarchical core-shell Fe3O4@C nanoparticles-helical carbon nanocoil hybrid composites for highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorption

Summary: In this study, a novel composite of helical carbon nanocoils (CNCs) and Fe3O4@C core-shell structures was successfully synthesized, with different morphologies and multilevel heterostructural interfaces obtained by controlling the preparation process parameters. The composite exhibited excellent microwave absorption performance at a relatively thin thickness, and expanded the effective frequency range.
