Summary: The study involved fabricating coated cotton fabrics using modified zirconia nanoparticles and polydimethylsiloxane, with variations in concentrations of these components to achieve stability, self-cleaning, and oil-water separation properties. The coated fabrics exhibited superhydrophobicity, resistance against chemical and thermal oxidation, and maintained high separation efficiency for chloroform-water and toluene-water mixtures.
