Summary: Over the past decade, the research community has developed various simulation tools for modeling and studying cloud systems, but current cloud simulators often lack comprehensive coverage of all aspects of cloud infrastructure, making it difficult to choose the most suitable simulator. CloudExpert, an intelligent system based on metamorphic testing, selects the most suitable simulator for users by analyzing the fundamental features of several well-known cloud simulators and generating metamorphic rules to represent the properties of the simulator. Empirical studies have shown the effectiveness and usefulness of CloudExpert in recommending appropriate simulators for different cloud aspects and evaluating strengths and weaknesses of these simulators.
