This case report presents a left kidney angiomyolipoma with intense uptake of F-18-FDG and F-18-ALF-NOTA-FAPI, which is contradictory to previous findings of low uptake in renal angiomyolipomas.
Angiomyolipoma is a common benign tumor in the kidney. Previous publication reported that renal angiomyolipoma had very low to low uptake of F-18-FDG. We report a case of pathologically proven angiomyolipoma in the left kidney with intense F-18-FDG and F-18-ALF-NOTA-FAPI uptake.
