A COVID-19 outbreak occurred in a Connecticut nursing home during July-August 2021, involving 21 fully vaccinated residents and 10 fully vaccinated staff members. The outbreak was likely initiated by a fully vaccinated staff member and spread by other fully vaccinated individuals. Prior COVID-19 infection provided protection among vaccinated residents.
During July-August 2021, a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak involving 21 residents (all fully vaccinated) and 10 staff (9 fully vaccinated) occurred in a Connecticut nursing home.
