The application of the nonlocal exchange potential matrix method to the study of ferromagnetic 3d transition metals

Yu-Hui Tang et al.

Summary: Tsai's matrix method has been extended to calculate the interstitial part, leading to enhanced 3d-band exchange splitting and magnetizations. Decomposing the valence electrons of Fe, Co, and Ni atoms reveals the main reason for the significant reduction in magnetic moments in metals.
