Resonant effects in the spontaneous bremsstrahlung process of ultrarelativistic electrons in the fields of a nucleus and a pulsed light wave

Sergei P. Roshchupkin et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the resonant high-energy spontaneous bremsstrahlung of ultrarelativistic electrons in the field of a nucleus and a quasimonochromatic laser wave. The initial second order process effectively reduces to two successive processes of the first order under resonant conditions within the light field. Scientific laser pulse radiation can be used to verify the model calculations.

Neutrino mass and mixing in U(1)B-L extension with Σ(18) symmetry

V. V. Vien

Summary: The proposed U(1)(B-L) extension of the Standard model based on Sigma(18) symmetry explains the observed neutrino mass and mixing pattern through the type-I seesaw mechanism. The predicted effective neutrino mass for neutrinoless double beta decay falls within the range (2.40, 3.60) meV, JCP within (-0.034, -0.024), in good agreement with recent experimental data.

Laser effect on the final products of Z-boson decay

M. Jakha et al.

Summary: This study theoretically investigates the influence of a powerful laser on the branching ratios of different Z-boson decay modes. It is found that at high intensities, the Z-boson only decays invisibly into neutrinos, and its decay into any other pair of charged fermions becomes impossible due to the increase in the effective mass of fermions inside the electromagnetic field. The study also includes the influence of laser frequency and intensity on the lifetime to confirm surprising results obtained in previous research.
