A new sesquiterpene was isolated from the root extract of Chloranthus multistachys C. Pei. The structure of the new compound was characterized using spectroscopic methods such as 1D and 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS.
A new sesquiterpene, 1 beta-hydroxy-4(5),7(8),11(12)-triene-6,9-dione-7,8-furanoeudesmane (1), was isolated from the root extract of Chloranthus multistachys C. Pei. The structure of the new compound was characterized by means of spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS.
