Cross-linked ionic copolymer solid electrolytes with loose Coordination-assisted lithium transport for lithium batteries

Linna Dong et al.

Summary: A novel freestanding crosslinked ionic copolymer solid electrolyte was reported in this study, fabricated via cross-linking polytetramethylene ether glycol with 1-vinyl-3-butylimidazole bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ionic liquid. The electrolytes exhibit high lithium-ion transference number, good electrochemical stability, and stable interface compatibility, leading to good cycling and rate performance in lithium ion batteries.

Ultra-low temperature flexible supercapacitor based on hierarchically structured pristine polypyrrole membranes

Qian Zhang et al.

Summary: There is an urgent need for low-temperature flexible supercapacitors (LFSCs) due to the rigidity and damage susceptibility of most supercapacitors at extremely low temperatures. This study presented a prototype of a supercapacitor that remained flexible and functional at -50 degrees C, utilizing a hierarchically-structured self-standing pristine polypyrrole membrane (PPy-N) as the electrode, demonstrating remarkable performance and potential for LFSC applications.

Triboelectric nanogenerator/supercapacitor in-one self-powered textile based on PTFE yarn wrapped PDMS/MnO2NW hybrid elastomer

Yongyun Mao et al.

Summary: The study developed a wearable TENG textile for harvesting bio-motion energy using a round-tripping-knitting strategy, which optimized power generation performance by modulating dielectric permittivity. Additionally, an all-solid-state yarn-type asymmetric supercapacitor was integrated as an energy storage unit, demonstrating high volumetric energy density and excellent cyclic stability.
