Sustainable production of lignin micro-/nano-particles (LMNPs) from biomass: Influence of the type of biomass on their self-assembly capability and physicochemical properties

The presence of specific linkages in the ligno-oligomers from different biomass affected the self-assembly capability of LMNPs, with stable and spherical LMNPs obtained from corncob residue and pine wood showing promising potential for various applications.
