Nanoengineering of 2D MXene-Based Materials for Energy Storage Applications

Summary: 2D MXene-based nanomaterials have unique properties and applications, but face limitations in energy storage. Nanoengineering of these materials is being extensively studied to enhance performance in energy storage applications. Research on MXene-based nanostructures for energy storage is discussed, highlighting preparation methods, properties, and applications in lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, and supercapacitors. Challenges and perspectives for future development in this field are also addressed.

Enhanced field emission performance of MXene-TiO2 composite films

Summary: A facile method was demonstrated to produce an MXene-TiO2 composite for enhanced field emission display applications. The composite showed enhanced electron emission behaviors such as emission current, stability, and emission patterns. The study found that the emission current from the composite film reached a high performance level.
