Bis(1-bora-4-phosphorinane) metal complexes were synthesized using a Cp*M-protecting strategy and their structures were identified by NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The synthesis of these complexes is highly dependent on the identity of the vinylphosphine precursor. This approach offers a novel method for generating saturated P,B-containing main-group ring systems.
Bis(1-bora-4-phosphorinane) metal complexes have been synthesized using a Cp*M-protecting (M = (FeCl)-Cl-II, Co-I, Cp* = C5Me5-) strategy and structurally authenticated by NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Synthesis of these scaffolds is highly sensitive to the identity of vinylphosphine precursor. This approach provides a new method for the generation of saturated P,B-containing main-group ring systems.
