A new technique for solving strong nonlinear oscillatory problems is presented, which is independent of trigonometric functions and involves simple determination of unknown coefficients. The method is illustrated with examples, showing good agreement with numerical solutions for large amplitude oscillations of some nonlinear oscillators.
A new technique has been presented for solving strong nonlinear oscillatory problems. The solution is independent of trigonometric functions, and the determination of unknown coefficients related to the proposed solution is very simple. The method is illustrated by examples. For a large amplitude of oscilla-tion of some nonlinear oscillators, the solution nicely agrees with the corresponding numerical solution. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
