Application of the catalytic probe method for measuring the concentration of oxygen atoms in Ar/O2 plasma of a low-pressure arc

Alexander Kamenetskikh et al.

Summary: Monitoring the degree of oxygen dissociation in dense arc discharge plasma is essential for various plasma applications. A catalytic probe method was developed in this study to measure the oxygen dissociation, with experimental results showing the highest degree achieved at maximum discharge current. This conclusion is important for technologies based on plasma-chemical processes in high-current discharges.
