Stromal POSTN induced by TGF-β1 facilitates the migration and invasion of ovarian cancer

Huiran Yue et al.

Summary: The study revealed that POSTN overexpression derived from CAFs in the ovarian cancer microenvironment is associated with cell migration, invasion, and metastasis by activating the PI3K/Akt pathway and inducing EMT in ovarian cancer cells. Additionally, POSTN also partially mediated the pro-metastatic properties induced by TGF-beta 1 and the activation of fibroblasts.
