Echinacoside exerts anti-tumor activity via the miR-503-3p/TGF-β1/Smad aixs in liver cancer

Summary: The study demonstrated that Echinacoside (ECH) could inhibit the proliferation, invasion, and migration of liver cancer cells, induce apoptosis, and regulate the miR-503-3p/TGF-beta 1/Smad axis to exert anti-tumor activity. Additionally, ECH promoted the activation of the TGF-beta 1/Smad signaling pathway, increased Bax/Bcl-2 expression levels, and triggered mitochondrial Cyto C release leading to Caspases activation.
